Operational Duties

1. Undertakes work in accordance with the Hospital’s procedures and operating policies; works within agreed quality frameworks.
2. Conducts complete skin examinations and delivers treatment for skin diseases, Pediatric dermatologic problems and Venereal diseases.
3. Prescribes hormonal agents or topical treatments such as spironolactone, antiandrogens, oral corticosteroids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and antibiotics.
4. Provides dermabrasion or laser abrasion to treat atrophic scars, elevated scars, or other skin conditions.
5. Provides therapies such as intralesional steroids and chemical peels to treat age spots, sun damage, rough skin, discolored skin, or oily skin.
6. Participates and provides leadership for organizational performance improvement activities.
7. Recommends diagnostic tests based on patients' history and physical examination findings.

Operational Duties

1. Diagnoses and treats problems related to female anatomy, specializing in:
2. Childbirth, caesarean and other instrumental obstetric deliveries including forceps and vacuum extraction
3. High Risk Pregnancies and Recurrent Miscarriages; complications like cesarean births, placenta previa or preeclampsia
4. Antenatal follow up of complicated pregnancies
5. Detection and management of cervical cancer.
6. Treatment of urinary tract, pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders
7. Care and Management of Menopause.
8. Detailed fetal anomaly ultrasound scan, dimensional scan
9. Examines patients, performs and interprets diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determines diagnosis.
10. Counsels patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive health care.
11. Examines patients and determines x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests as required.
12. Administers and prescribes conservative measures of treatment as antibiotics, drugs, and compresses.
13. Treats and counsels women throughout their pregnancy, gives prenatal diagnoses, conducts delivery, provides recuperative period and postpartum care, including diet and medication.
14. Tracks the health of, and treats, both mother and foetus as the pregnancy progresses.
15. Applies surgical procedures and coordinates gynaecological & obstetrical operations including laparoscopic and infertility procedures, IVF etc., in conjunction with other consultants and anaesthesiologist.
16. Deals with birth injuries and any post-operative complications.
17. Directs nurses in procedures for preoperative and postoperative care; administers sedatives, prescribes diets, and prepares operative area of patients.
18. Monitors patients' condition and progress, and re-evaluates treatment as necessary.
19. Explains procedures and discusses test results or prescribed treatments with patients and families.
20. Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.

3. Exhibits appropriate personal and interpersonal professional behavior; practices medicine ethically and stays consistent with the obligations of a physician. .

Other Duties

1. Responds to referrals from department specialists.
2. Provides supervision to the department specialists, registrars and technicians when required.
3. Participates in continuous quality improvement programs for Ob/Gyn. service
4. Provides teaching materials as part of the professional development of the department staff.
5. Attends the meetings of the Ob/Gyn. department to discuss the rules & regulations, obstacles in work, incidents & complications encountered and suggestions to improve the quality of service.
6. Participates regularly with other Ob/Gyn. staff, in decision-making related to patient care.
7. Participates in organizational performance improvement activities.
8. Accepts all other additional assignments found necessary by the Clinical Director- Ob/Gyn.

9. Manages record keeping, patient charts and all required patient and hospital records as needed

Audiologist responsibilities usually include the following:

• Examine patients with ear, hearing or balance and other related problems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties

1. Adheres to established departmental policies & procedures and initiates action, to attend patients, as per established procedures.
2. Greets patients and patient visitors, determines nature/ purpose of visit and directs them accordingly.
3. Answers queries on telephone and makes appointments for the patients, over the telephone if necessary.
4. Provides information about Hospital, such as location of departments/offices, employees within the organization or services provided.
5. Handles patients registration, all clinical booking procedures, schedules appointments and does follow ups.
6. Ascertains from the patient the Physician he/she desires to consult. Enters necessary information in the system and prepares required documents & appointment slips.
7. Guides patients to the proper clinic/patient’s room in coordination with the attending porter.
8. Verifies all insurance benefits assigned to the Hospital to determine whether insurance coverage meets the standards as per the Hospital policy.
9. Verifies fee collected from various patients and hands over the cash to the Reception Supervisor for depositing in the Finance Department.
10. Maintains departmental records and files and takes care of Department equipment.
11. Participates in departmental meetings and related in-service educational programmers.
12. Attends training courses related to new task, if required.
13. Performs other duties as and when assigned
    In Patient Department Duties
14. Prepares pre-admission and admitting forms & reports and facilitates room transfers.
15. Files registration and makes appointments for the patients.
16. Reviews Hospital admissions to ensure accurate financial & biographical data, ensures proper procurement and maintenance of documentation into the Hospital records.
17. Makes bed assignments in collaboration with the Nursing units, based on patient preference, condition and diagnosis.
18. Notifies department head about admissions that do not meet the Hospital financial policy criteria.
19. Reviews and prepares admitting and death or birth records to ensure compliance with medical-legal requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develops/modifies approved new/current HMIS modules with the aim of solving business problems or automating business processes to improve controls and operational efficiency.
2. Assists in the development of interfaces between HMIS and ERP and provides on-going support.
3. Coordinates with Team Lead and IT manager to resolve issues related to oracle HMIS systems and provides support for HMIS.
4. Analyzes user requests for changes or enhancement to existing software, proposes architecture and design solutions for discussion with Manager-IT
5. Maintains accurate quality control documentation and prepares project progress reports.
6. Attends telephonic inquiries for assistance with the system. Diagnoses and trouble-shoots day-to-day problems faced by end users; analyzes and recommends ‘fixes’ to solve reported problems.
7. Attends to end-users in person, as required, for identification of issues and provides solutions to minor problems in minimum possible time.
8. Makes presentation or demonstrates software solutions to operational users.
9. Provides training to end users in the usage of new, enhanced or modified software/ systems.
10. Interacts with users through various phases of design, development, implementation & maintenance.
11. Maintains daily work progress and time spent on various activities on the assigned project through project charter id.
12. Maintains appropriate Helpdesk records, reports and files on the update and deletion of data.
