New Mowasat Hospital has a very sophisticated inpatient services where multidisciplinary staffs of highly skilled professionals work as a team to provide comprehensive care to patients from infants to elderly. For this, we have several specialized units:

•  Critical Care Units for adult and neonatal patients:
The major feature of critical care is the combination of high tech equipment for specialized monitoring and experienced professional staff who are able to improve the healthcare of patients while reassuring safety and comfort.

•  Medical- Surgical Unit:
  Offers the level of care needed when the patient health problem is less serious than medically complex conditions and do not require critical care. Comprehensive services are provided here for postoperative patients.

•  OR:
  In addition to general surgery, we are capable of carrying out specialized OR procedures of Orthopedic, urology, ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngolgoy, Gynecologic & Obstetrical and Plastic Surgery. For this purpose, we have fully equipped 5 Operating Rooms and one Caesarian Theatre , using state-of- art technology and adjacent to this a well equipped post Anesthesia care unit is available where the patient is recovered.

•  Obstetrics & Gynecology:
 A major space of the hospital is exclusively dedicated to these services where a complex ranges of women's' healthcare service is offered through its Obstetrics, Gynae as well as assisted reproduction services. We were the first to introduce the concept of LDRP to Kuwait . This division also coordinates post natal home health care service.

•  Neonatal Services:
  Two units are available:
   i. Well Baby Nursery: Rooming in ie. Newborns are kept full time with mothers is encouraged . However, mothers who like their newborns to be taken care by nurses will be housed here while strict breastfeeding is recommended and encouraged.
   ii. NICU: Infants who require special care and continuous monitoring are admitted in this unit.

•  Ambulatory Care:
  A team of qualified and specially trained staff with absolute dedication and commitment provides ambulatory care. Scheduled visits are done in OPD which consist almost 25 clinics for various specialties. Emergency and urgent treatments including minor surgical procedures are handled in ER. The ER is now renovated to accommodate maximum patients at a time and thus to reduce the waiting time to see the doctor. It is organized in such a way that complete privacy is observed.

•  ODSU:
 : Hospital has a one-day surgery unit where it provides the most convenient environment for patients for minor elective surgery eliminating an over night stay and thus he/she returns home in a relaxed and positive frame of mind.
